I think UE should just put a nice background texture/material and incorporate the Head-Fi color scheme in the UE logo or other brandishing. Everyone seems really into exotic materials such as carbon fiber, titanium, gold, silver, platinum, rhodium etc etc.   Maybe carbon fiber that actually has some texture and the UE logo in blue chrome.

I like the minimal Head-Fi logo ( after all, anyone buying these will know it's Head-Fi anyway )
 
But how about an even more distinct pattern/texture like:

I don't have access to any photo/image software at the moment, so I can't add the logo, but you get the idea.
