All else being equal I would give the i5 a chance. What has me considering the m5 is it is 100 less and available now.

It might have been mentioned but what are the measurements / size of the i5?

Thanks for the response.

(LxWxH) 126 mm x 64 mm x 14 mm

Well, I guess I'll go ahead and preorder my i5 soon, maybe near the end of this month

where is the link to preorder

None. I'm gonna preorder through Indonesian dealer and they said they should have the international version by end of June.
Asian dealers gonna have it first so I guess you'll have to order it from Taobao or something when it's available, if you want it fast.

Edit: Is there gonna be any difference between the international ver and US/EU ver though?

There is nothing wrong with ugly people listening to Beats :p j/k :D

Beats are quite pretty for the look alone, so the chance to have pretty people "wearing" Beats are quite often.

Do they really listen to them? who cares?

Shouldn't be, we only have two versions of firmware, domestic in Mainland China and International for the rest of the world.

That is Spotify and Foobar2000.

I didn't use Tidal personally because it doesn't support Chinese character in Artist and Song name, all the names are Pronunciation translation meaning which is extremely inconvenient. I'll set up an account and try this later one day.

Will Poweramp Music Player work on it? Supports Chinese localised version.

Poweramp is a DSP player and doesn't play HiRes. I'd bet that the player app that Cayin puts on the player will have better sound quality. That said, if you want to use Poweramp, you should be able to. I have it on my Note 2 running Android 4.4.3, and it Poweramp works on lower, if I remember right.

Different code for processing the sound. On my iPhone I tried KaiserTone and Radius's NEPlayer apps on the advice of the Shozy rep. Both sound different from each other and different from the stock music app.

oh ya the codec haha
