Its just a vol pot. The only thing I'm thinking about is the coupling cap. Perhaps I should put a small resistor in the signal path too.

Actually my dedicated source is an Oppo BDP-95. It has a 2v max output.

I'm just converting the amp into a basic amp. It has a single input. I don't have a preamp. So its single input is my only source, the BDP-95. Once I remove the vol pot, it will be a dedicated amp with a single source, until such time as I get a preamp.
