Cool review. So, how does it sound with the Stacker Alan? 

 
Edit: Oh yeah, look forward to some thoughts comparing it to the HE-5 and T1 as well.

I wanted to add a comment that the LCD-2 is probably the best headphone I have had the pleasure of using for low level listening.
Just for this reason alone I want to buy these headphones. Most headphones if not all that I have heard need to me to up the volume control knob to get full dynamic range reproduction. Not the case with the LCD-2 which translates to safer listening.

offered money for Audeze some days ago and asked gently for a invoice but didnt get any answer for it only a email wich pointed out that they begin shipping these phones to customers on 10th.This is great news!... do i get these phones for free... thats a big suprise and a very kind gesture-cant wait for the new phones

The HE-5 and the T1, (along with many others) are going to be sold off. AND I have an entry level, new Head-Fi member reduced rate plan (FOR SPECIFIC PHONES) I'm formulating for the 15 and under (I'll explain later) crowd.....I just have too many phones I don't (or won't) be using anymore to justify keeping. Spread the wealth!!

I'll probably have to wait an agonizing few months before i can even think about putting in an order. The LCD-2 makes my original TPs sound hifi'sh and just walks all over it overall including the low frequency response...not boding well for me.

THANK YOU!! I couldn't agree any more...the Audez'e is a specialist with low level balance, and the detail retrieval with reduced levels doesn't shrink. Other late reference examples (800, T1)  demand a much higher SPL to retrieve (and maintain) both balance and detail.
