Are you sure it isn't the cable/cable connection??

I tried them the other way round to make sure. It's not the cable.

Nope it's not the cable. Cause you can really hear a loose connection when you try to sneak the cable into the driver.

Do you get the impression that the voices are in the center of your head, or are they more in front of you? Does the violin dance across the skin on your face, or does it sit between your ears? Kinda funny questions but I think this could help me a little.

Not sure what he has to do with it? But you can answer to that after you die. Maybe I'm not the best at asking about soundstage, but I'm trying to see if the sound is stuck in your skull, or if it gives the impression that it could be coming from outside the cans themselves.

Maybe the pm-3 was better than I thought. When I was listening to some Zoe Keating it literally felt and sounded like the cello was dancing across my face. Almost like the bow was using my face as the strings. There, now that I've dug myself even deeper I'll retire from this thread for the day.
