Audeze has just fixed the problems with their current line and now want to release another can?

It'd better be solid when released or that's 3 strikes.

I think Morbid means there had to be a revision because the rev1s weren't quite up to snuff. And the LCD-1 never got a widespread release, I guess that's his strike one?

HiFiMan had some growing pains as well. Eventually everything got straightened out. I guess the lesson with planar-magnetic 'phones is "Don't be an early adopter".

Looks nice but very heavy. This is already a hp that shoots itself in the foot by virtue of it's weight despite being a wonderful sounding hp.

Rev 1 drivers, rev 1 & 2 cracking wood, 3 drivers (heck I didn't even consider the LCD 1). There's been a lot of problems and while they have top notch service that's not exactly a great pedigree.

I loved my rev 2, and I'm hoping this closed model does really well...I just want them to be sure it's ready for prime time this go round.
