10 years? That seems a lot. Honestly I don't know, best way is to ask them I think.

I think we have to send it to iBasso but I have a feeling like either way is okay for them. Like above, best is to ask them probably.

I got replied from iBasso, they give one year warranty and ten years free labor to DX100. But you need to pay for shipping.

However, iBasso said they cannot answer any question regarding HDP-R10 because this product is exclusively for Hibino.
Anything we need to ask Hibino directly.

So if we need a repair service we send it back to Japan/Hibino?

You'll have to send it back to where you bought it at least. One HF member who bought it from e-earphone had to send it back there (who in return sent it to Hibino and eventually iBasso). Luckily he travels to Tokyo often enough so it wasn't such a big deal for him.

Edit: Err... e-earphone is a retail store in Akihabara, Tokyo.

BTW, thought you guys may like this picture. Lots of 2nd hand HDP-R10's in e-earphone and pretty reasonable prices too :-

Very good news. Eventually I will be asking my friend in Japan to get me one. I was wondering if I was going to get another DX100 or the HDP-R10 for my partner, now the decision is easy. I might be keeping the Hibino for myself though, and hand her the iBasso, depending on which I prefer; after all for her everything is a gigantic step up from her iPhone & earbuds

I have just bought another W5000. And I have convinced her to stop wasting her money on lossy on iTunes and rather start using Qobuz.

I find them too pricey too, but since they are the only alternative in France, and have a decent presentation, a growing catalogue of interest, UI on all their platforms (Android, iOS, PC & Mac) in French, they are all I could suggest to my French language partner.

Ah you will buy a HDP-R10 ! Cool :)

HDP-R10 and EM6 are playing a well synergy together, very realist imaging with absolutely none aggressive tones, smooth and dynamic on a more analytical way than the EM4. Less space and airy, but more realistic with another idea of harmony. Both are coherent, but differently.
