Second off is that i have finished my TDK BA200 review. Click Here!
Lastly i have a new incoming IEM that is the Sony XBA-2 that i have recently purchase and am excited to see how it fares against the likes of my other dual drivers the DBA-02 and BA200. I am also fairly excited about finally having some Sony hybrid tips. Enjoy the update!

To right ahaha. It is also bags of fun and i lot writing about the and comparing them. Got the AF78s in my ears at the moment. Sounding fairly average at the moment. Lets hope that all improves with burn in!
 
Yeh i am pretty hyped about the Sony hybrids as i have always wanted some but have not wanted to pay that much for tips.

Audiofly AF78 Initial Impressions (Day 3)

 
Pros
  1. Great build quality, metal used well on the jack and housings.
  2. Tangle resistant cable.
  3. These look just amazing and picture do not do these justice. Best looking earphones i have.
  4. Case is very snazzy and nice as well as being small.
  5. Bass has very nice presence which is not overwhelming.
  6. Bass is also very nice quantity wise.
  7. Sound is very airy and sounds stage seems nice so far.
  8. MIds are very clean.
 
Cons
  1. The cable has held it self in a wavy position from were it was winded.
  2. Tips are not of the best quality.
  3. Tips are hard to fit.
  4. Not available yet :wink:
  5. Treble is so far rolled of and laid back.
  6. Mids have massive decay and are echoey.
  7. Quite rough sounding at points.
 
 
So far all seems to be going well. These have about 15 hours burn in now so that my latest. I will do something a lot longer if i can find time but am doing final exams in school and everything is pretty hectic.

What do you think of my AF78 impressions. i will try and get some goo pictures up of these. They are sexy!!!!

They are the best looking earphones i have although the BA200s are super classy looking and do not trail by that much. I am not to far into the burn-in process but already the sound is better. Out the box they were not that bad though in my opinion. Tell us how your opinions differ from mine if you would.
 
I am getting the camera out and going for some pictures of these! :wink:

I feel jealous only getting the AF45's :/

Well...actually Joker did - I never had the time to do it, nor saw anyone else do it - as soon as I saw you put your up, I thought to myself...wait a second..I got like 30 odd IEM's, ALL reviewed...why the heck not? lol

Only getting AF45s, thats a lot more than most other people so don't complain :p
 
Okay joker did inspire me also but their was also some inspiration from me ahaha :D Buy yeh i agree, why not indeed!
