Eh, it's easy to post on my phone. It's an HTC Inspire.

 

How long will I not have it? Tough to say....I'm moving so that's why I won't have it immediately.

 

I downloaded....let me check bitmeter....about 120GB of stuff in two days darthsmile.gif...What did I download? Hmm, I'll post it up later. It was mostly manga though. Anime series was Eureka Seven, Ergo Proxy, Shuffle, Hellsing Ultimate, Freedom, and.....that's it. Shuffle and Freedom I haven't seen at all and the rest I never finished. I also got Summer Wars for a movie.

haha may i inquire where you are going?just curious to see if you are still in east coast

 

wow. ..if it's HD. then it's n ot a lot :) i can't do that. i won't know what manga or anime i would want to watch :) especially manga

You can see that Raika's ready to whip out her fan and hit him. Her fan is like the ones in Super Smash Bros Brawl. I want one so I can hit people with it. wheee.gif

It's taking me a bit to get used to this mechanical keyboard. I haven't used it for awhile. I bought it this summer in Japan. It's a Filco Majestouch Black with Cherry MX Blue switches (The Black in Japan is essentially the ninja here in the US since it also has the front printed keys but a JIS layout instead which I can't find the layout for in Windows 7 for some reason so some of the keys don't match up but at least I can use my laptop keys as reference). The blues feel and sound so nice. No this isn't off topic. It's Japanese gear. :P

haha jap gear so it's on topic. my near keyboard..is just meh.. i like my oldone better as it had a more tacticle responsiveness to it

 

haha how could you tell that was the part??? raika hahah. it's kinda sad that they are sacrificing focusing on raika's story and on the little girls but then again. they made raikia in such a way that there wouldn't bee too much so ..yeah. the next episode looks great :)

It's japanese and it's gear. I wasn't specific and this is just general discussion. lol. I've tried Cherry MX reds, blues, browns, and blacks along with white alps (Filco Zero keyboard) and topres (filco and happy hacking). The blacks were too stiff for me IMO. I press wrong keys once in a while by accident. It brings down my wpm count by a couple unfortunately. But the blacks are just way too stiff. Reds felt much better. When I was trying the keyboards out (at the Cleverly store in Akihabara. Thanks ripster), the blues for some reason felt like they were easier to press than the browns. I don't know, but the browns should have a lower actuation force than the blues and reds. Topres were very smooth with a very small amount of mushiness since it still uses rubber but it felt great. I felt like the white alps switches would have normal resistance but then it would increase once you got to the actuation point and then eventually go through. I don't like it but I think it helps you adjust to switches like that (cherry MX blues, greens, and clears I think) but if you can't control yourself, you'll just bottom out.

He was going around imagining Miu and Hina at his house and he was on top of the dog house. Lol. That part's weird and funny. Raika is just awesome. Gotta love how Hina makes everybody like her, even the landlady/landlord's 29 year old and apparently still young daughter. Segawa/Uncle's daydream was funny.

 

Can't wait for BRS and Guilty Crown tomorrow! Any word on when Fate Zero 2nd half is coming out?

im thining of just going full and gettin the logitech keyboard..who knows :/ i might go try out a mechanic keyboard and see if i like that better than my tacticle responsive membrane keyboard :/

 

love love that show. I didn't like the crying part but everything else was awesome : usagi kun or chan is carried around all the time : just plain awesome :)

Get a mechanical. I can't stand using rubber domes. Scissors (okay, yeah, they're rubber domes but not as resistant) are still great with me. I can still type fast on those. I feel like the point where they bottom out is sometimes exactly where the switch actuates on these blues.

 

BRS ftw. Has anybody watched/read Kaichou wa Maid-Sama? I've watched every episode and read some manga (my sister is reading and watching all of it). Pretty funny.

what's BRS?

 

i've read kaichou wa maid sama back before it was popular..yeah one of those..before everyone knew about ti comments but yeah that was me. it started dragging on and in the end i got tired of it really :/ so tell me in a spoiler buble what's the current relationship status of the two? when you get up tmmrw of course :)

 

i also stopped reading the other..om....i dont know i forgot the name :/

NO WAIT DON'T GO! Drats. I was about to ask which type to go for a relatively quite mechanical keyboard. I know they are noisy, but I've read around and there are different degree of noise they can make depending on which keys they have. Kind of like how not all open headphones have equal leak. Suggestion for some?

BRS anime sucks. I hate the storyline, but I keep watching in hopes that it'll not suck. I'm infinitely pissed that they decided to use the OVA's plot, which is effing terrible. Both the BRS manga and the game have much better storylines that don't involve stupid middle school girls, stupid crippled middle school girls, and incompetent middle school counselors.

ETA: As far as noise goes, all mechanical keyboards generate some amount of noise (by nature of their construction). Certain switch types are quieter than others (IIRC, Cherry MX Blues are the only kind that are specifically clicky; Blacks are also non-tactile - they're purely linear switches - so they generate even less noise).

Temperature is more-or-less a non-issue when it comes to HDDs. In fact, Google ran a study on HDD reliability and found that HDDs that ran (excessively) cooler tended to fail more often than ones that ran slightly hotter than the norm. (Ofc., correlation doesn't imply causation, but it's something worth considering.)
