Off topic but the Raspberry Pi was released today. They sold out everywhere already. lol. www.raspberrypi.org
 
I should just get one of these and an external hard drive to watch anime with on my TV. It can do 1080p.

ETA: 1 double-sided dual-layer DVD = 17GB = 15.9GiB (a little over that, actually, but not a significant amount enough to matter). So he'd need at least 10 double-sided dual-layer DVDs to store all of that anime, and it wouldn't be playable as a DVD because hey guess what, DVD can't into 720p/1080p/mkv (which is what most quality releases are, nowadays).
 
ETA2L Also, DSDLDVD are pretty rare. Most common DVDs (e.g., the kind you can buy in spindles of 25-50 discs) are DVD +/- (R)W, and are single-sided, which brings you down to ~9GB storage (and half again if it's single-layer as well).

2x2TB internal, 2x2TB + 1TB external, plus 160GB laptop (although that's a work machine, so I don't really have anything stored on it). I've got about 1TB free on one of my internals, the other internal is mostly empty because it's my Linux boot and I haven't touched it in a year or so. Between my two main externals, I've got ~840GB free.
 
Like most people, I'm waiting out the flood season.

Flood Season! yess. haha. they say end of this year sadly. and with current 500GiB's going for $120....  I can see that :/
 
One thing regular people doesn't understand is that.. space isn't the only thing that matters, you also need to look at speed, reliability, and temperatures which are some big one's amongst others. My 2 other TB's are not fast and about 300GB spread out across 2GB's of that 3.5TB's I have is on a near fail state :/

What? You can easily get a 1TB Hitachi 7K1000.D with around $120 (from what I remember) and with $100 a 750GB Hitachi 7K1000.D.

Probably won't have internet for awhile starting tomorrow....I stocked up on anime and manga though but I'm going to suffer on ongoing stuff....maybe I'll probably still post on my phone though.
