It is true that there are similar aspects of the Apollo and other headphones as we are working with technology that is available for all manufacturers. The hinge is similar to what is on the PX8, Bang & Olufsen H95, Shure AONIC 50, SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro, and others as it is a reliable hinge and we felt the design would be a quality fit for the Noble Apollo.

The headband, cups, and button layout are unique to the Apollo. The internal housing for the Dynamic and Planar Magnetic driver configuration is also of course patented and unique to Noble.

We're excited to be in the line up with other top-of-the-line headphones. We hope you enjoy our first foray into the over-ear world!

The Apollo is certainly intriguing. Are you able to say whether it will be designed to be used equally effectively in wireless mode and passively wired, like the T + A Solitaire T is?

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. When using a 3.5mm cable (there will be a 6.3mm adapter included as well) It will not be using the battery, and can be used passively. It will not have the ANC function, or use of the other buttons aside from the main play/pause button in this state though. If you would like to listen to the Apollo wired with the ANC and other features available, you can use them wired and powered on, but it will drain some battery in the process.
