I recently bought a LFF Paradox. Despite being incredibly neutral, I'm finding them fatiguing and keep wishing I got the Vibro instead as my closed back. These may end up reddit or the sale's section soon. It's unfortunate, as I do like them, but I need something I can listen to most of the day, haha.

  $300 would be my budget..

I'd prefer not to spend that much if possible. I do know the JDS Lab Element does fall in my range $350.

What would be the cheapest one though?

for $300 if you already have a DAC then the Gustard H10 does a great job driving the Vibro Mk.I.  If you don't have a DAC then maybe a Matrix M-Stage DAC/amp combo would be good.

I have not tried the Vibro with my old Monoprice DAC/amp combo.

I'm using the 1/4, just one unit.....

The Nuforce seems like a nice amp.  Can you expand on what you like about it?

I never found the vibro to be picky about which amp was driving it. It plays well with others. Lyr, h10, zdac, pulse and geek outs 450 and v2. It sounds good but different with them all. It tightens up with more power. Gets cleaner and more balanced but it still sounds good with the less powerful amps. Ymmv. Bass was bloated with the 450 but I still enjoyed it. That was the 1st version vibro.

It has a big bold sound, but still refined. Where my tube amp is more of a raw power kind, the NUforce is a lot smoother. It feeds my power hungry headphones like the ZMF and Sextett with the right amount of juice, both  in quantity and quality. Of course it doens't change the sound of the headphones, it just make them work to their full potential.

For some of my headphones it's too much, but that's why I have more than one amp.

Extend the Sliders out fully and bend the headband inwards emphasizing the area you want more pressure.

Also you can rotate the pads so the thickest portion is where you want more pressure/contact.

I just received a pair of Blackwoods from Aiyah and am just wondering how I use the 'rubber dowels' on the bass ports? Does anyone know what port does what?

EDIT:

Zach answered my questions with utmost speed! Good gravy, his replies are fast! And the Blackwood is awesome, hands down the best closed can I've ever heard.

Bass adjustment. All three open give you the most. The more you plug, the less you have.
