I’m with you on that- ordered B-stock Auteur suede pads as well for my VC to alternate later with the Auteur lamb skin.

Almost bought another Salire, too, but I have all the stands I need… damn it.

No money for an Atticus yet, not until after the holidays… oh well, I certainly cannot complain!

I think the pelican case supplied is perfect for travel in my motorhome. It's robust, protective and can fit the VCs with cable and portable amp. It all depends on what sort of travel you do.
In fact, I'm still on the lookout for something similar for my Elites as I want something more rugged and less blingy than the case they ship in. Sadly, the Elites don't fit the Seahorse case for the VCs.
