Decided to change it up and hooked up some dusty amp I had laying around.
I dunno, I guess it sounds pretty good with the VC's...

Hey Guys, I did one of those Ancestry DNA tests and found out that I’m more Scott and Irish than German (surprise), and Robert the Bruce is my 14th Great Grandfather. So, I’m exploring Celtic Music. Since this auspicious forum is quite international, I was hoping for some recommendations on Celtic music, bands and recordings, Tapadh leat!

I have no idea if this would be considered part of the Celtic genre, but Dropkick Murphys are too much fun to not include! I love Rose Tattoo, Green Fields of France, and State of Massachusetts.

Makes me kinda wish I ponied up the extra $ for the iron wood. Went with MP and an upgraded cable instead. Slowly moving up the list....

they look lovely, as do all the finishes i've seen so far, but i'm 100% happy with Monkey Pod in terms of the finish and weight... oh and they sound alright too

With about 200hrs on VC's listening to them solely on my FA Euforia, with the Hugo2 on DAC duties, tonight i plugged straight in the the H2 for the first time, and wow @Monsterzero i you're not wrong, as i think in your review you mentioned how well suited the VCs were to solid state. I havent cared for the stellia's straight out of the Hugo, but this is a totally different ball game, damn i think i might prefer it. Just listened the re-release of Fernando Falcao's master piece Memoria Das Aguas, proper hairs on the back of neck stuff. This album is stunning work out for the VCs especially with a bit of Hugo liquid loveliness :):)

upgraded cable is absolutely worth it. ZMF cables are vastly underrated.
