Has anyone had an issue where the driver sounds like it’s moving in the cup? Just got a pair of VC on the market and noticed this in the pair :/

Yeah I did that and made sure the screws were tight, still hear a rattle when the driver appears to move. Just figured I would ask the forum but I emailed Zach, I’m sure it’s an easy fixShould be able to remove the earpad and check if there's anything loose.
Could be driver's housing is a bit loose inside. Actually, yes, easy to fix, with a screwdriver to open the front grill. Otherwise email Zach.I’m sure it’s an easy fix
It happened on my old Auteur, which sounded horrid. Sent it back to ZMF and it ended up needing new brackets. They took care of it, and when I got my Auteur back it sounded fabulous.Has anyone had an issue where the driver sounds like it’s moving in the cup? Right now we state 6-12 weeks and get everything out as fast as possible. Sapele would definitely be far shorter than any LTD right now as well.Zach I'm sure you get tired of answering this but what is the typical wait time for the sapele Verite closed? I wasn't sure if those had a wait time like the Ltd version?
I think I replied to you but just in case: You'd want to take a tiny philips head screw driver and take the driver grille off, and then just press down on the outside of the driver until its back seated in the gasket. Make sure not to press on the membrane, you'd wanted to press on the edges. Then everything should be fine once you put the grille back on.Yeah I did that and made sure the screws were tight, still hear a rattle when the driver appears to move. Anyone have any recommendations on portable cases for zmf verite closed? Ideally not too bulky

I also bought this case for my VC. It works fine if you don’t need to load anything else besides the headphones.I found one that might work but it might be a tight fit, I just wanted something that could carry a ZMF VC with me so I could then bring with me in my messenger bag or something for on the go use with my DAP.

Upkeep is definitely part of the modular design with premium parts, and we're sorry for it, but also happy that it let's owners have a product that will last the test of time.I have to admit as much as I love my VC I do think there could be an improvement with the rod design. There seems to be a significant number of people who have had them come detached (including me) and resorting to having to reapply thread locker seems like a bit of a bodge on a pair of £2700 headphones. Mine were loose straight out the box...
