I swapped my Eikon hyrbid pads out in favor of the Universe and I’m really enjoying the change. A little more immediate and dynamic with some really cool 3D separation going on. Now I’m trying to even remember if I’ve used the U pads since I got a OTL amp and can’t remember. Either way this is a nice change even though I love the Eikons.

The best aspect of my VCs is that I don't even think about other headphones or system changes, nor do I even think about thr headphones while the music is playing. Its just music and relaxation.

@zach915m

I have a question. What do you think about Quebracho wood?

After 3 months, my Leapardwood VC is done! I still got to wait a few weeks to get to me (stationed overseas) but I am stoked to hear the final product! Zach and Bevin has been such a great pleasure to deal with in this whole process. Thank you for all your hard work and communication.
I'd love to read your impressions once you do receive them, and I suspect that others would as well. For me it was fun reading all the praise, then becoming more and more interested and finally pulling the trigger on the purchase. But it was really cool to hear them for myself and realize that all the "hype" was actually dead spot on (at least in my opinion). If anything, they've exceeded my already high expectations, and I'm starting to think they may be even better than my HiFiMAN HE1000 headphones*, which I love.

*More listening will be required to confirm this, and I still stand by what I said about the HE1000 being great.

I've bought the co-pilot pad for my VCs which I've attached over the existing suspension strap and main band and it feels pretty good. That is, you can't feel it much at all.

I hope to upgrade to that one day and restore some dignity to these poor headphones, but for now it's cheap hack time using some foam padded material and velcro - surprisingly comfortable, if not quite as stylish:

Eureka!!!
After a 6 week wait my ZMF Verite C Ltd (Leopardwood) have finally arrived yesterday. I have to say, They are well worth the wait. Thanks Zack and Bevin. They are a work of art. The sound right out of the box was impressive and they still have to burn in. Very exciting.
Gimme some time guys, review will follow I'm also waiting for the rest of my system to arrive.
Here's the money shots because it's not real if there's no pictures!!

You're in for some fun sir... Your setup is noteworthy because it of your approach; 1-step to awesome for all your kit. I am sure it will be worth the effort/wait.

Thanks @chrisdrop . It is coming together. It's slow, but if initial impressions are any indication there's many enjoyable hours ahead.
I'm currently just using a Mayflower O2 dac/amp. I can't wait to strap in Mischa's @A2029 Blue Halo Amp, (4 pairs of glass are already sitting on my desk) my Rockna Wavelight and C2029 power conditioner. Fun times indeed.

Wondering if those of you who own or own both the VC and an Atticus could compare the two for me.

When would you grab one over the other?
Is there a reason to own both other than just collecting headphones?

Thankyou
