Some basic info on Caldera Closed that might be good to know for the release:

1. Tuning kit will be available in the "included pads" drop down menu, this includes all four recommended pads and the two alternate frontal mesh choices for up to 12 configurations and even more if you go without any mesh on the front. Although I think most will prefer some sort of mesh on the front.

Some reviews will be coming from Headfonics, Headfonia, and TechPowerUp as well, not sure in what order.

what are the differences in the wood between the Caldera closed versions?
The Shedua looks great, I couldn't decide between that and Ash now as they both look great.
I would be interested to know how they differ in sound.

go with the more aesthetically pleasing wood, don't worry about sound as much. the sonic differences aren't huge between woods, you'll get more noticeable differences pad rolling and tweaking your dac/amp, especially if the amp is the tube variety

EDIT - In general the softer less dense woods have a slower decay and more resonance. They tend to be a bit more euphonic and analog sounding. The harder woods have faster transients and are a bit cleaner sounding overall. Again, the actual differences are subtle, so go with the wood you love looking at most, IMO.
