It's improved a ton since you heard it, more of a headphone amp instead of a speaker amp that does headphones.  I'll roll out details ASAP, just hammering out last details.

I have a feeling its XLR in the front for convenience.  Its only RCAs in the back.  But I'll take a well implemented single ended over a crappy balanced any day...

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that Zach removed the page because the information on there wasn't final. Starting a discussion based on that might give some people the wrong idea...

Looking at the specs, it should work OK.  Synergy is a different story though.  Maybe Zach, or another fellow head-fier, has heard the Omni with the NFB-11.

It has 1800mW/50 ohm so yes it will be more than enough.

I really like the Audio GD stuff, I have had NFB 10.32, 28 and now Master 11 which never leaves my desk, as it's what I tune and measure headphones on.

Counting the days till I get the Liquid Carbon. (1st run) My Omni is going to be my first experience with balanced outputs. 
 
Gungnir USB 2 Balanced >> Liquid Carbon Balanced >> Omni Cherry.
