…these were delivered a few hours ago and I’m just thrilled
I like the black grill with those cups. That combo really works for me.

Thanks! I ordered Dec 25 so only 3 or 4 models were left, but luckily these were the ones I wanted.I like the black grill with those cups. That combo really works for me.
The red speckled maple uses birdseye. If you'd prefer it without the red stain just leave a note at checkout as we'd be happy to do that.@zach915m ever plan on making headphones or salire out of Birdseye maple? Or would I have to wait for the custom shop?
We are working on stabilized Salire's! I'm the next few months you should see them.I'm waiting for a stabilized resin Salire eventually also love that there's still photos being posted here long after November! Hope to see if more of those new Eikons get posted here I think it's just been one or two so far.

Those DO look like a starry blue sky at night over mountains!!! I love that! It reminds me of Van Gogh...My AC came in today (Altin), these resonated with me because they reminded me of mountains and when they came I love how the light reflects as you change the angle. Also really like the bottom but they are the toughest to photograph I did my best while I was able to keep them off my head.
Overall on the sound I feel like these are still settling in and I'm getting used to them but I really love the bass and midrange and they really do complement the caldera well. The midrange is I think the part that seems to be settling in the most but it's becoming a real strength of these and it has a really great sound with acoustic music. Still really early for sound impressions but I'm really impressed with them already. I haven't started pad rolling I usually just get used to the stock pads for a while. So far some of my favorite songs have been NIN La Mer and I'm really enjoying Bonobo Animals and Tycho Easy, really the full albums sounded nice but those songs stood out. I feel like that was the best I've heard La Mer and I've listened to that song a lot but I really enjoy NIN in general through these.
These are probably my favorite pictures on this thread, on a technical level. sUBLIME.…these were delivered a few hours ago and I’m just thrilled
I didn't know this would be a thing, has there been something teased about the Mega Salire before? We are working on stabilized Salire's! I'm the next few months you should see them.
We also will have the mega Salire soonish, same 1 to 3 month timeline.

Oh hey no worries! That's just my staff doing their job haha. Anyways - wanna send me an email to zach@zmfheadphones.com and I will get that invoiced over to you? I just checked inventory and checked with my Salire guy and it'd be no problem, NOT staining something is always way easier and really not a problem.@zach915m Sorry to clog the thread, but I sent an email in to make sure that would be OK before ordering, but received an email back today saying "At this time, we are not able to process custom Salire orders due to current inventory"... should I still order and put in the notes or does this mean I can't get the maple salire (either unfinished or clear satin finish)? Thank you
