It's a shame that the front and back plates are not replaceable. It would be amazing to be able to buy just the plates and swap them depending on mood. But I understand why it's not swappable.

From what I understand, you could swap them but it's a total pain in the arse. You'd have to completely disassemble it.

Yeah. I wouldn't dare do that lol. So to me its considered not user swappable.
