Yeah. Based on the VC of that I have seen it should be very gorgeous. Someone posted a classified listing of it a few months ago and the AC one will probably be .

Lol I am tempted to get one as well. I already have the ab 1266 and susvara. Primarily interested in cycling through amps for those two headphones but this is tempting.

I've read some reviews on the zmf vc and I'm interested in it because I don't have a closed back. Just curious what other people have to say about it. How does it compete with hd800s, lcdx, susvara, ab 1266 phi tc?

The Ash is a little less dense than the stabilized but harder than very soft woods like redwood, cherry, silkwood etc. It's a good medium density wood as far as ZMF used woods go - but it still pretty light weight. I tend to like the softer woods a lot in closed backs for the decay, and it has about the "right" amount of it sonically for my taste.
