This was one of the more crazy sets. Love the textures! It's incredible how they can release the same headphone model and all of them look COMPLETELY different.
Waiting for it
Yes both on ZMF main site and Chronos review on headphones.comIs there a rundown somewhere of how the different pads affect the sound of the VC? Like one sentence for each
Yeah. Based on the VC of that I have seen it should be very gorgeous. Someone posted a classified listing of it a few months ago and the AC one will probably be .Oh these are looking rather nice! Can't wait to see the purple Burnt shou-sugi-ban AC. They look to have potential as being top of my list!

Lol I am tempted to get one as well. I already have the ab 1266 and susvara. Primarily interested in cycling through amps for those two headphones but this is tempting.
The Ash is a little less dense than the stabilized but harder than very soft woods like redwood, cherry, silkwood etc. It's a good medium density wood as far as ZMF used woods go - but it still pretty light weight. I tend to like the softer woods a lot in closed backs for the decay, and it has about the "right" amount of it sonically for my taste. Also curious about the sonic differences between what the sonic differences would be with the Shou-Sugi-Ban Euro Ash vs. stabilized - is the difference bigger like the Atrium Closed special releases vs. stock wood options, or is it more minor?
