Hey Everybody! I went in and made an edit that I just wanted to clarify- the B-stock sale is not a one day only (meaning here one day, gone the next) event. It is a one time only (annual) event where ZMF sells our B-stock units. While visiting the website the day b-stock is released < November 17th> will give you a broad view of options, and options may sell out quickly, you can check back after the release date as the sale will be available for a short duration or as supplies last. Hope that makes sense~
Hey all! It's that time of year again!
What is ZMF November?
ZMF November is a yearly event where we at ZMF have our one time a year only B-Stock sale, as well as rolling LTD releases in special finishes, and a plethora of LTD Stabilized // Resin wood releases. The B-Stock event is a one time a year event with offerings that may have a cosmetic flaw, but are sonically up to our high standards and come with a full ZMF warranty.

Hey @joshua1122! Great question. We would be happy to change the BBB strap to the old style strap. The only caveat is that this may delay shipping a bit as the headphone will have to go back through production. Just leave a note at check out and it always helps to follow up by sending us a bump with the request and order number in email as well!I've noticed all the recent Stabilized editions have the BBB straps. I personally don't like feeling the stiffness/hardness of the BBB on the top of my (thinning) head, and prefer the older ones. At least that has been my impression whenever my wife has me listen to something on her Atrium from last ZMF November.
Is it possible to write in a message to have them replaced with the older strap, or is that a preset bundle that can't be changed on the Stabilized sets? Or is it best to just order a strap separately, and replace it myself? Thanks!

What are the differences between the BBB and old style strap?Hey @joshua1122! Great question. We would be happy to change the BBB strap to the old style strap. Apropos of that question, probably good to front load that other cosmetic or parts changes to the headphones ( rods, grilles, chassis metals) we won’t be able to accommodate due to risk of damage and/or the process being exceptionally complex.
Thanks, Bevin. It was just a preference, and not a strong enough one to delay the order – so I guess I'll leave it and see if I can get used to it. If not, I can always order the old style later down the road next year. Thank you for the helpful answer!Hey @joshua1122! Great question. The old leather straps are thin, and have the same width as the headband:What are the differences between the BBB and old style strap?
Of course! I appreciate you asking the question because if you’re wondering, likely others are too. Thanks, Bevin. The BBB is a nice thick premium bull hide. It has a greater surface area than the original strap, which for some ( all subjective) has proven to be more comfortable. The BBB straps also come in various colors that accent parts of the headphone. What are the differences between the BBB and old style strap?

If a headphone has a BBB strap and I prefer a different color, will I be able to get it exchanged? The BBB is a nice thick premium bull hide. It has a greater surface area than the original strap, which for some ( all subjective) has proven to be more comfortable. The BBB straps also come in various colors that accent parts of the headphone.
The good thing about the straps is that they can be changed over pretty easily with a hex key and the proper screws that we supply when purchased as an accessory. All of the strap types are featured on our Earpads page: https://shop.zmfheadphones.com/collections/pads
BBB and at the very bottom ZMF straps ( in leather and vegan suede.) The straps are $14.99 so can be a good add on if you are sensitive to straps and want the opportunity to try both.
Epoxy stabilized and resin are the same thing. The stabilized headphones are very dense, similar to a natural hardwood. How does the "stabilized and resin" wood effect the sound, compared to a regular hard wood or regular soft wood? Also, is "stabilized and resin" different from "epoxy stabilized", and if so, how?
Hey thanks!@zach915m super excited about the Homage! Have the specs been finalized and if so are they available? Can't wait to see what the final production version looks like! What woods for the faceplates, etc.And seriously, why do you hate my wallet so much? I know i'll impulse buy an ash AC even though I have a stunning Redwood Burl. But that ash is so damn good looking. I'm running out of organs to harvest for this hobby
Question on the Homage and it's sonics. You're a tube lover, as many of us owners are. How close does the high ohm output of the Homage come to a decent tube amp? I've become so enthralled with tube amps that listening to almost all solid state amps feels empty to me. They just lack that special sauce tubes bring. How close does the Homage get to it? I know it's not a tube amp and won't sound exactly like one, but I just something solid state that's close.
Unfortunately these are not "custom shop" type headphones and we have to carefully utilize inventory of different colors and such to make sure our inventory is utilized properly and kept track of well for other pre-built releases. All of this record keeping happens as headphones are built (with low qty items like BBB straps) and it would severely bottleneck our teams process if changes like this have to be made. Sorry about that!If a headphone has a BBB strap and I prefer a different color, will I be able to get it exchanged?

This is a good question! The headphones that are shown in the collections that are on the website now, Verite Closed and Auteur Classic resin & stabilized have a couple of units that are b-stock listed. These collections, in totality will go live tonight, even the couple of b-stock units.Just want to clarify - the B-stock Verite Closed that are shown on the ZMF site will not be available for purchase today at 6pm CST, correct? They will be available with the B-stock drop on November 17th?
