Dam

Damn is an AC? Is it burl or stabilized? If Burl thats prolly the best looking one I seen so far. Stunning.
Yes, it's an Atrium Closed. I posted a few images earlier in thread. As much as I like sharing I wish I could get really good pictures of these. All the pictures don't do them justice.

Is that top part adjustable?
Not exactly related to ZMF, but I did receive the headphone stands that were recommend by another member on here. It was from a shop in Ukraine, Borykworkshop on Etsy.

Bad pics, but you get the idea. Work is incredibly solid, very high quality.

Thank you for the recommendation!

Great looking stands.

If those were mine, I'd be half tempted to fill the gap between the top and bottom with smoked plexiglass and a side scrolling LED.

If I’m going to go for a Holo, it would be the Spring 3 KTE, which goes slightly out of my budget but 🤷‍♂️. But then again I’m not sure how much of a difference the transformer and capacitor upgrades actually make so going for an L2 to save some bucks may not be that bad of an idea
I've heard it said many times that the difference between L2 vs KTE is very subtle, i.e. probably not really there. I think the biggest reason to go with KTE is for the pretty applique logo on top and the better resale-ability.

Wandla was tuned and designed basically copying sound signature of Holo May. I haven’t heard it yet, but will be comparing both units in a couple of weeks. Expecting May to have a slight edge in overall stage space, but according to the early reviews, both are close and Wandla comes with some great hqplayer oversampling filters, while May on its own is pretty much NOS only, since the provided OS options are rather bad.
Please keep me posted on the comparisons between the May and the Wandla. Even though I am certainly not getting a May now, I *may* in the future and it would be good to have something close to it in performance (namely, Spring 3) and tonality.

Yes a friend is getting Wandla soon, we plan to make an A/B hopefully sooner than later. Wandla seem to be a very safe choice according to most reviewers. May still seem to have an edge but nothing that would justify the substantial cost difference it seems.

Not to continue to disrail this thread more than it already has been, but I see several posts likening Wandla to Holo May. While I haven't spent any material time with Wandla, I would point out here that a) differences between most DACs are minimal at most, and b) any claims of a delta-sigma DAC sounding "exactly like" a R2R DAC - especially one with design & construction as advanced as Holo May - should be met with skepticism. I'm sure Wandla is a great DAC, but I feel like the equivalence with May is being vastly overstated here.

Take it with a few grains of salt, but I heard the Wandla briefly with the Oor and the May KTE with the Bliss. To me there was no comparison, at least with the settings I had on. Yes, the Ferrum sounded very nice and clean, but the Holo was bigger, more 'holo'graphic and simply a lot more impressive. At least to my ears.
Of course, the real comparison would be by using the same amp which I have not had a chance to do.
