I need reviews for Hd650 with zmf pads.
Yes I'm also looking forward to this very much, personally for the lambskins.

Not to splash cold water on these pads, but to me they're too expensive.

Geekria can produce fenestrated (with holes) leather pads for my Senn. HD800S for ~1/3 less.

I purchased a pair of Drop HD 6XX (new from Drop) before Christmas for ~$180. I don't know why, I have 0 (other than determining that they work) hours with the phones. One of those "always intended to buy a pair, good price" purchase decisions.

I like fenestrated sheepskin pads. I don't like them at this price.

Of course, I can spend 1K chasing 70 year old tubes ("makes perfect sense", says the white rabbit).

No rhyme or reason, and certainly no rationality in our hobby.

I know there's definitely a ton of similar products out there at better prices, I haven't tried geekria products and don't know their process, but if they work for you that's awesome!

I put a lot of personal effort into everything we do at ZMF. Which for the pads includes testing the pads on world class measurement equipment, making as many iterations of prototypes as it takes to get the sound right, testing different naturally vegetarian tanned (and thicker) leathers and foams to use the best ones regardless of cost, and the stability and assurance that comes with owning a ZMF product which means you're getting something that will work well and is actually made and designed by a headphone enthusiast with zero corners cut to save cost.

I try to be transparent about what we do and available to help, I appreciate the feedback.

They are similarly priced to Dekoni pads but the shipping cost to India put me off.

Will they be available outside ZMF?
Dealers will be able to buy them soon. We have Goldfinch Acoustics in India.

Our website does calculate actual international shipping prices, so if shipping rates come down the cost on our site will follow in real time.

Hey all -

My beloved Sennheiser HD600,650 have been with me for years as well as my Beyer DT990 and DT770 (both 250 ohm), and like many of you never see myself getting rid of them. But - the earpads over time and use can wear out! I have really spent countless hours and research perfecting the ZMF pads for our own headphones and wanted to give making pads for some of my headphones a shot.

Anyways - long story short, I made about a dozen iterations of pads for the my Sennheiser as well as my Beyer headphones, and found that a I liked a very specific size of earpad for each headphone that worked best for my taste, and also measured pretty good too! One feature that I think you'll enjoy, is the ability to remove the injection moulded attachment ring, so you can use the pads on other headphones as well! Included with each set is a plastic removal tool.

You can buy them here: https://shop.zmfheadphones.com/collections/pads

The HD6xx+ pads come in ZMF suede perf, Lamb perf and Solid Lamb, and the Beyer Pads come in solid and perf lamb. We hope to add more types in the future!

I will have a video for the Beyer+ pads soon as well! So subscribe to our YouTube channel!

Check out me measuring the final iteration of the ZMF HD6xx+ Sub pads here:

imo buying HP pads is like buying tyres for the car..... tyres are the only thing that contact the road, same as pads contacting the ears.... in the end, you get what you pay for but YMMV
