Hey all -

My beloved Sennheiser HD600,650 have been with me for years as well as my Beyer DT990 and DT770 (both 250 ohm), and like many of you never see myself getting rid of them. But - the earpads over time and use can wear out! I have really spent countless hours and research perfecting the ZMF pads for our own headphones and wanted to give making pads for some of my headphones a shot.

Anyways - long story short, I made about a dozen iterations of pads for the my Sennheiser as well as my Beyer headphones, and found that a I liked a very specific size of earpad for each headphone that worked best for my taste, and also measured pretty good too! One feature that I think you'll enjoy, is the ability to remove the injection moulded attachment ring, so you can use the pads on other headphones as well! Included with each set is a plastic removal tool.

You can buy them here: https://shop.zmfheadphones.com/collections/pads

The HD6xx+ pads come in ZMF suede perf, Lamb perf and Solid Lamb, and the Beyer Pads come in solid and perf lamb. We hope to add more types in the future!

I will have a video for the Beyer+ pads soon as well! So subscribe to our YouTube channel!

Check out me measuring the final iteration of the ZMF HD6xx+ Sub pads here:

Well this is unexpected. Kinda wish I hadn't sold my 6XXes a long time ago. If anything can make them feel like they're not crushing my noggin it's ZMF pads.

Nice, just looking for more comfort. Tried the Dekoni Elite Hybrid pads but didn't like what it was doing to the sound.

Measurements show sound is not much changed compared to the Dekoni pads, will wait for the sound impressions.

What makes them different from Dekoni?
I don't know much about Dekoni pads but they look great!

We use very specific foams in our pads and also have an asymmetrical placement of the ear cavity with a slight angle to the pad to get the sound and feel that was achieved.

I don't have and haven't measured the Dekoni pads, the pads used in the video for comparison are the stock pads from my HD650.

Will have to watch the video again, very interested to try the pads.

I'd want to try the suede ones for my 6XX :)

I like the treble peaks that the suede adds to the 6xx (according to the video). Might balance out the original 5k peak that I thought made vocals a touch sibilant.

Zach will these fit the 650? I assume yes. Edit: I see it does, thanks.

Great work! Will the beyer ones slip on the notch of the DT1990?
I actually haven't tried them on the 1990, but they work great on my 770 and 990, I'll release that video shortly.
