Hah, yeah I know what you mean, I've considered selling the Elegias as well as my 770s. But strangely they have their own strong suits when EQ'ed. Nice sounding closed backs are hard to come by. I've found those two work wonderfully on my gaming rig, which I have my Topping E50/L50 stack attached to right now. With Peace/EqualizerAPO those two sets of cans are all I need for that station. Even if I want to listen to music sitting in my simracing cockpit, I have good sound.

I have a soft spot for my 770 250ohm, I know the feeling. The Elegia I could let go without regret, but not the 770. I'll keep it till the end, same with my HD650. Those go down with the ship hahaha. Hmmmm I wonder if I can put in my will the kiddos have to bury me with all my headphones and tubes, or they don't get anything...

Awesome news! Thank you for sharing. I'm curious as to how the mic sounds. Would be cool to hear it in action.

Anybody have any experience with the Dragonfly Cobalt and how it compares to the RU7? I have only heard that mobile Dac/Amp because a friend had one.

Having a mobile dac/amp would be great to have for the BOKEH.
