ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)

I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the stock RU7 cable does not work as well as the ddhifi tc07s due to the power limitations of the iPhone. For IEMs, the RU7 stock cable is fine.
There is a solution to get around the power limitations of phones with the RU7 (dongles).

Which power bank are you using? I want to keep this solution as portable as possible.

It's about the size of a smart phone.

At this point I think you have to ask yourself (Phone\Battery\Dongle) is how do you tie it all together into something you can hold in your hand and still use your phone for everyday tasks like taking pictures on the fly if your kid or pet does something funny.

@ValSuki When did you order, if you don’t mind sharing? I ordered 12/19 so just curious of progress.
I got my shipping notification last Friday, 23 Feb, and placed the order 12th Dec if that helps at all.

Have to use a freight forwarder to get it shipped to me overseas, so a few more stages of insufferable impatient for me I'm afraid.

Hope yours comes soon!

We're basically making BOKEH only (well mostly) for the next 3 weeks until the entire release order is fulfilled. So - anyone who hasn't shipped yet you're not too far off.

Hey guys,

I measured every pad and mesh option, which took a while. I also noticed that you need all 4 screws for the driver cover, because otherwise you don't get much bass, as you have more baffle holes. You could potentionally tune the bass by leaving one screw out, but didn't try that.

Hybrid pads with burst mesh or even without the mesh are my favourites for balanced listening. I also like suede pads without the mesh for brighter sound. Strong treble brings some nice bite to the sound and doesn't really bother me, as there is enough bass to counter it.

Lucky you. I got a notification ( 2-3 weeks ago) that I will get a notification (2 days ago) about the upcoming notification (next week) of the actual shipping… :deadhorse:

I am looking forward to the opportunity of placing my order for a BOKEH. All good things come to those who wait 😃🙏

Hope my earlier message didn't come across as critical/ complaining.

Was very impressed last Monday, which was the day before the 10-week period I believe, I got an email saying that the items were running slightly behind...then Friday I got the much- anticipated shipping notification. They also replied super quick to a few questions I sent a few weeks back, including about entry -level OTLs that might sound good. What I really love about the ZMF team is that they are regularly dealing with enthusiasts with world-class gear, buying expensive products - but still take the time to help steer users to lower cost gear that synergises well.

As always, very impressed by the customer support and processes of the ZMF team. Hoping all waiting get their delivery notifications soon 🤞

Had a chance to try it out at local distributor. It was really good. Surprisingly good. The bokeh had a very natural open sound on the more neutral side for a close back. It's definitely one of the more enjoyable close backs I tried recently haha. I own the verite close and if my retailer had the stock I would have bought it on the spot.

Awesome! Am I missing something or is there a way to see the different pads and mesh options on top of each other on the same graph?

You can see all the options by pressing the + in front of the headphone model. Then you can add multiple graphs by selecting the desired ones with the each + right side of them.
