I could audition the newer ZMF models at the highend and they were among the best headphones at the show. Especially considering the complete package of build comfort and sound.

They didn't Flash me, so that I need them right away, but were nice enough to warrant a purchase for prolonged audition at home.

Now I'm waiting for ZMF November.

Who knows what November will bring! And I'm not teasing it, I honestly am not sure until I know what we have on hand and all that what we will do in November. But it will be exciting for sure.

My olive ACs came in today. Very glad I bought the matching olive case for them. I've been listening to Tidal (Gungnir --> Freya+ --> Valhalla 2) as I put my new HOTAS for DCS together. Haven't played with EQ since Peace seems to be broken at the moment.

My word these sound incredible. All my other closed back headphones are in trouble. It's almost like ZMF took the best parts about LCD-XC and Sennheiser 820s and put them into the Atrium Closed. The detail and spacing is awesome. I think it has a little better spacing than the 820s actually. The bass is a perfect marriage of detail and heaviness. I would like a touch more impact with the bass with the stock tuning, but I would venture a guess that there is more than enough for most users. (Sort of a bass junky.) Lots of detail up high without being fatiguing.

The fit and finish is perfect. The headphones sit incredibly comfortably on you and the headband distributes the weight effortlessly. Well done Zach and co., your hard work as definitely paid off with these.

I'm really happy with the result in terms of aesthetics and ergonomics.

It's a 8x26AWG 6N OFC cable made by Slawa (Rottmans Cable) in Germany. It's custom made. And he makes this really nice Furutech like splitter

This one time in band camp…..

I've received a couple of private messages regarding the trance tracks I posted above requesting more. I have been collecting trance music since the early 90s both for work and personal consumption, so again my collection is quite large.

Roon gives the ability to create a PDF file of my entire trance collection. If you have a streaming service I would assume that much of this stuff would be available for your listening enjoyment.

For the compilation albums that list the artist as "various", reference column "F" for the correct artist.

Nice! To be honest I had no idea you could do that!

A lot of my collection is locally stored, and some of the stuff isnt available on Qobuz so I get it on Tidal so that would explain why you only got a partial amount.

EDIT: if anyone just wants to dip their toes in the trance pool and not add thousands of tracks right off the bat, check an artist called Beat Bizarre. He is the most unique and talented trance artist out there IMO.
A lot of trance can sound the same, but Beat Bizarre def has their own sound.
