Pics coming in about 7-10 days, going to hammer out as many headphones before the holiday as possible, then take pics next friday of all production models and post.

@zach915m I ordered aeolus through my local dealer Zeppelin & Co., do you have an estimate of when they will arrive for collection in Singapore? I didn't get a tracking email as I did not order from your website. If you could send me an email with tracking information for my order, that would be great as well. And of course, happy holidays to you!

I dunno if it was that Zeos' review (huh?) or what, but his preorder count seems to have taken quite a bump over the last few days... Either that or Zach just updated the list in one fell swoop, heh. He'll definitely have plenty of work thru January. Hopefully not speaking out of turn here, so I'll leave it at that.


What's with the suede strap that was added as an option later? I saw Zeos' review on my phone so I didn't really get a good look at it, a lot of the latter preorders seem to have gone for it tho. Is it just more cushiony? Thoughts from anybody that's worn it? I'm curious if it'd feel any different in the high heat here.

Ordered placed today will ship in January or Feb, we are starting to ship today.

Zeos set had a suede strap - he seemed to like the strap so a lot of people requested it. We added it as an option, I don't personally find on strap more or less comfortable, the suede strap can be a little more unruly and make the headband harder to bend, but it does have more padding.

I would also love to make the next Seattle meet (whenever that will happen). I ordered the ltd version but did so recently so may only have it around Feb.

I actually think his ZMF reviews have been excellent. He's ruffled some feathers calling the Verite meh and praising the Aeolus to high heaven, but his descriptions of HOW the Auteur and Atticus sound and how they make him FEEL (keeping in mind he's testing them on fairly flat and neutral solid state equipment) is almost to point how I heard both these headphones on my own setup, which makes me think his impressions are accurate and therefore very useful - assuming you're using similar source gear. If you're into big tube amps like many ZMF devotees around here, probably best look away.
