Not that weird really. ZMF was an acronym for Zach Mehrbach Films...that was his passion until he got sucked into the headphone world.
Probably still is a passion, but this is his living.

Love the music in TLI...also the cinematography. It has a mysterious, elegaic vibe that really pulls me in.

Yes, and I was like 14th or something on preorders, I'm guessing there's quite a few out there by now. I haven't had much time for serious listening thru the holidays but I'm glad to have received them quite quickly, only used them out of my CTH so far... Need to hook my Torpedo III back up (moving sucks, ugh).

Caved in and ordered one of the last few Ziricote pairs! As satisfiied as I am with the Auteur, I've always been intrigued by the Atticus and how good it's supposed to be for rock/metal music. I am also a sucker for accurate timbre.

Pretty sure I am going to end up with one of each of the ZMF headphones, they are just so darn good and so nice to look at.

I think you're right. I don't think that many of us that hopped on the preorder have them quite yet due to all the holidays and demand. Impressions will probably pour in when January hits.

My dealer tells me that my unit should be in by late January. Although I have had numerous audition sessions already, I want to wait till I can listen to aeolus for an extended period of time. The demo sounds incredible for my preferences, I know that much.

Just a note that we're in full production mode, working today (happy New Year!) and that we will be shipping constantly this month. We have LTD Ziricote sets almost done and Sapele sets in full production.

After today I will take down the pre-order on the LTD Aeolus Ziricote - as those are just about sold out.
