I can chime in!

The full delivery of the HM1s for USA customers is expected to happen around July 30th.

Michael has said he expects to be able to intersperse a couple shipments before then but obviously doesn't want to commit to any dates because this is audio and any date given means delays are sure to happen!

We currently have 8 left from 2024 allotment.

Thanks for clarifying!

Thanks @Fafner ! Enjoy it :D

I ordered mine about a year ago, early 2023, so I guess I should have it by early summer latest? I am going to ask for some clarifications.

Taron, this direct insight is reassuring to hear. Don’t know where I fall in the queue, but hoping to be part of the interspersed shipments before then!

Appreciate you chiming in!

Has anyone considered using the HM1 with a Stax transformer? I found this design on the internet:
https://www.audiodesignguide.com/my/stax_transf.html

The description states the amp should be able to supply 10V at 8 ohms, which I believe the HM1 should be able to since it can do 18W at 10 ohms (for transients only).
Would like to give estats a try someday but I don't want to lose the magic of the HM1 so this would be perfect!

The real question becomes: do I try to DIY it or do I pay someone like Birgir from Mjolnir Audio to do it properly? DIY would be fun and much cheaper but i'd be afraid to mess something up and cause component damage..

I know of at least one head-fiers that tried this with the Woo Wee from the HM1 4pin XLR to the Wee's speakers inputs with X9000 to satisfying results
That looks perfect! You don't get the Lundahl transformers (I assume if Woo was using Lundahl it wouldn't be that cheap) but otherwise it's a nice box without having to look for someone to do a custom build.

@Danmellinger Had HM1 and the Woo WEE for a while and reported great results. He's also tried a couple different transformer adapters so would be a good person to chat to about this

I just installed it but not much time these days, I’ll probably be able to give it a quick listen later today. :)
