So true, It Takes a Nation of Millions would fall Top 15 though too.

As far as your list goes, nice inclusion of 3 Feet High and Rising.

Also, I've never heard that Gangstarr album. I was going to pick up a couple CDs today, so I'm thinking that's going to be one of them now.

Couldnt decide b/w Hard to Earn and Moment of Truth; the first was more influential to me, the latter, a better album.
If youre going to pick up some new cds, check some of these (im more underground/intelligent hip-hop these days than OG/gangster...
1)Omid-Monolith
2)Prefuse 73
3)Rjd2
4)Aesop Rock
5)Blackaliscious (i think Gift of Gab is the greatest MC to ever live, yeah I said it

)
I prefer intelligent/positive rhymes with layered and complex beats over the crap thats mainstream today.

thanks for all the recomendations

ever since I got my hands on the dangermouse album I've been trying to find more stuff like it (last.fm).

though it isnt the best recorded/mastered album for a headphone enthusiast... what are good headphones that complement hip-hop music?
