American Football, ice hokey, and lacrosse are great sports to watch.

It's a toss-up between hockey and soccer for me. I really like the blinding pace of hockey, and the genius and athleticism of soccer players.
TV does miracles for football, making it way less boeing than it is in person, IME live American football is twenty-something blobs moving around a green expanse.
Oh, and honourable mention to curling
It really is a joy to watch if you have half a clue about exactly what's going on.
