My friends all like nin, but none of them are quite as obsessed as I am. It's nice to know there are other people out there just as obsessed as me.
1. The day the world went away- I just don't know what to say, I think it's one of the most epic and at the same time beautiful songs I've ever heard.
2. Even deeper- takes you to another world
3. Ringfinger- great lyrics, very under rated
3. Wish- fast and angry with nihilistic lyrics
4. Hurt- the most depressing song I've ever heard
5. Mr. Self Destruct- very industrial and very scary lyrics
My favorite album is TDS. I love the lyrics and agree with them but sometimes it's hard for me to listen to the whole album because afterwords I feel like killing myself. The whole album is about losing hope, giving up, and realizing how horrible life is.
I thought the Fragile was good but not amazing but after reading these posts it makes me want to listen to it all the way through, I feel like I missed something there. And unlike most people I was pretty satisfied with Year Zero and With Teeth. The albums lean toward more traditional rock but it's still far from ordinary.
