How do the Grado GS 1000e compare with Utopia. I have the latter but fancy a second pair of Headphones and I have often fancied the Grado but maybe I would get the GS2000e. I want something a bit different than Utopias which I love ....too much of the same would be a waste. I listen all kinds of music rock and classical. Your opinion would be welcome.

Love to see the old school CD3000

This CD3000 was a pretty lucky find. Both drivers still work and it’s in great condition. It even came with the original case, opening the case it felt pretty special.

At one point I had 4 pairs. Audeze LCD either 2 or 3 pretty sure it was 3. Senns HD 800, HiFi Man HE 6. Then I got the Utopias. After that the others were just never used as the Utopias bettered them all in every respect. The Audeze I just couldn't live with the high end was just dull. The Senns sounded like there was no body to the mids. The HE 6 were pretty Ok really for the occasion when the Utopia would be a bit too revealing, the HE 6 being a bit more forgiving. I have thought now though after having only the Utopias and about a year ago getting the Woo WA 5 LE weather I should try a second pair maybe in the Grado range. My experience though has always been once you have bettered an item then it just stays in the box as its hard to go back. Why would you?
