I dont really have a "3-best" for each.  I dont keep a depth chart beyond 1-2 spots.  Cans get sold that dont make the cut.
 
Movies: K240s-55ohm
Music: RS1 / K701 (50/50 split, depending on the music).  Every once in a while I break out the Koss A250, when I want to hear upper frequency details.
Gaming: None, I dont play PC games
Tablets/iphone/ipad: Jays t-Jays (HF1 straight out of the macbook)
General PC use (lo-fi streaming):HF1, AE2 when I need isolation

Well my three main uses are different from those ones.
 
Home at desk, mostly listening to music: HD-650 as of a couple of weeks ago.
Out and about on public transportation when I need isolation:  DT1350
In bed, mostly listening to podcasts:  D1001 since it's comfortable and easy to fall asleep in.
