R.E.M. - "Accelerate" [Deluxe -Limited Edition]
Sun Kil Moon - "April"

Some nice stuff on there! If you don' already know Mark Kozelek's Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon sound, be prepared to slow down a notch or two, although I know you listen to some similarly slow music at times. Same with the Bon Iver. Both really good. That DeVotchka is fun, haven't spent enough time with it yet, and be hard to top How It Ends, but very good. Recorded down at Wavelab in Tuscon where Howe Gelb and Calexico usually work.

Haven't bought much in recent times except ...

Portishead - Third
Devotchka - A Mad & Faithful Telling
Sun Kil Moon - April
Voyager One - Afterhours in the Afterlife

Hey Davey,
Yeah, seems like a good spring for new music. Looking forward to this summer. I'm familiar with Mark Kozelek. I listen to "Tiny Cities" and "Ghost..." quite frequently. I'm liking this new album. Some Neil Young guitar licks in there. Bon Iver's nice but I was a bit under impressed after a review I heard on NPR. I am REALLY liking DeVotchka! I haven't heard "How It Ends." I have to correct that oversight. Nick Cave is a good listen as well. I'll be getting the new Portishead soon. I'm also looking forward to the new album by James.
