Heh. Fair enough. Try to find their material on vinyl if you get the chance. They're very lush, and the packaging is usually pretty neat.

hmm, my lack of vinyl equipment makes vinyl a rough choice for me (plus I like it all on my computer, and ripping it to my comp. would be a bit of a pain I'd imagine, and probably costly).

I ordered a bunch of CDs but here's the 5 newest ones to arrive.

Shining - Grindstone
Tool - Lateralus
Anata - Under a Stone With No Inscription
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Behold...The Arctopus - Nano - Nucleonic Cyborg Summoning

Grindstone is probably my favorite atm

3 today, not five, but...

Meet Horace and Clive EP by The Rocketsmiths, a great unsigned Brisbane band
Slide Guitar Master (best of thingy) by Elmore James
West Side Soul by Magic Sam.

That was a seriously constructive dash into town. Awesome stuff!

Here are my latest purchases at my recent visit to Virgin Megastores (overpriced, but great selection).

1) Markus Schulz - Progression
2) Blank and Jones - Relax Edition 3
3) Above and Beyond - Tri-State
4) OST - Wicker Park
5) DJ Tiesto - In Search of Sunrise 5

I found a few other things, but these are what I enjoy the most.

I'm not sure what grabs me about it, but I like Natasha Bedingfield.

The Brunettes - "Structures and Cosmetics" - I didn't like this very much. There's a couple of only decent songs.
Digitalism - "Idealism" - kind of an uneven album.
Pantha du Prince - "This Bliss" - quality. It didn't give me the same thrill as the recent The Field, but the percussion programming is pretty snazzy.
Strategy - "Future Rock" - Jury's still out.
Tegan and Sara - "The Con" - I'm really diggin' this one...It's kind of a creeper - simple at first, but soon enough, the subtle melodies and sisters' vocal style wedges into your skull.

Angel Dust - Bleed
Angra - Temple of Shadows
Arena - Immortal
Clockwork - Surface Tension
Cydonia - The Dark Flower
Digital Ruin - Listen
Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons

Green Carnation - The Quiet Offspring
House of Spirits - Turn of the Tide
Liquid Tension Experiment 2
Mind's Eye - Into The Unknown
Pantommind - Shade of Fate
Psychotic Waltz - A Social Grace
Queensryche - Rage For Order
Rush - Moving Pictures
Silent Force - The Empire of Future
Stratovarius - Destiny
Stratovarius - Episode
Stratovarius - Twilight Time
The Devin Townsend Band - Synchestra
Tiles - Presents of Mind
Transatlantic - SMPT:E
