I've got myself quite a lot of cd lately , after setting on a new pair of cans (Grado hp2) my music thirstness grew ...

some of them :

Steve Vai : Firegarden , Alive in the Ultra World , and others I was missing from a time .

Scriabin , Liszt , Rachmaninov , Bach : quite a bunch of records ..

The Doors : the remasters

Tom Waits : Swordfishtrombones , Bone Machine , Real Gone

Hendrix : Electric Ladyland , Jimi by himself ( home recordings )

Metallica : Master of puppets , Ride the lightning

Not really...I would start with Rounds if you can find it...I think it's his most accessable one. Good luck.

Four Tet did a remix of a Bloc Party song? What on earth? That's the most ridiculous remix I've heard of.

Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
The Mountain Goats - The Sunset Tree
Mouse on Mars - Niun Niggung
Hot Hot Heat

Can't remember the fifth one, it's been far too long. I should go buy a CD today.

mysticaldodo what are your impressions of Portuono's album?
I like Rodrigo for flamenco guitar. The Gypsy Passions album I have is not recorded very well, but I still enjoy it.

-The Knitters - Poor Little Critter on the Road (I used to be a big X fan, have been wanting to get this for a while)
