Bernard Parmegiani, De Natura Sonorum, recorded 1975, rereleased by Editions Mego reissue on two 45s a couple of months ago, and as fresh and exciting now as anything I've heard.

parmegiani passed away two days ago, sad news.

nice to see someone buying records form editions mego as well, have you had the chance to hear any of the records published by their sub-label, spectrum pools?
specifically, I thoroughly recommend Bee mask's works.

my last five:

Yves de mey - Opal tapes
Shackleton - man on a string
Voices from the lake - 531 Hz
Mike parker - thermo
Various - Semantica 5 years compilation (part three)

Also picked up Death Grips' No Love Deep Web on CD. In case you were curious, yep, they kept the cover art.

Great day at the thrift shop yesterday.

$2 bought me Will Oakland's privately issued 1954 record  --  "This extraordinary souvenir has been the subject of rumors by collectors . . ."  http://www.archeophone.com/product_info.php?products_id=97

PLUS 8 golden age European pressings of classical music, including Klemperer on a blue and white Columbia SAX.  Those may go to The Bay.

Also grabbed Sonic Youth and Grateful Dead CDs, relatively expensive at a buck each.

Just picked these three up at a local small business. Darkside Records and Gallery. It is small business saturday. Got all 3 for $22.

Got these three on order from fye. I had a $20 fye gift card, so after the gift card I only spent an additional $8.

All in all, 6 great CD's for $30, so It's a good day!

Sorry guys, another monster post, mostly picking up some prog rock and classical/modern art stuff that I'm forever rotating through on Youtube and Grooveshark. Picking up some more stuff later this week, too...
