Well... I just had to have the new Darkness On The Edge of Town box.
After all, it's one of my favorite Boss albums, and one that perhaps would benefit the most from a little remastering spit shine.
But, boy oh boy, they've really stretched the limits of the album reissue package here.
And I thought they had been stretched pretty far already...
3 CD, 3 Blu-Ray, with a thick spiral-bound "notebook". All housed in a slip case.
Retail price: $139.98
So what's the real problem here?
The problem is, no single disc version is being offered. Nor will it, I assume. Just as with Born to Run.
Oh well. There goes my wallet.
Also picked up Bee Gees' 50th anniversary box, Mythology.
The box set is arranged into 4 discs, one for each of the Gibb brothers - Barry, Maurice, and Robin - and one for their younger brother Andy.
I didn't really need another Bee Gees compilation, but I was interested in this because it contains remastered versions of some Andy Gibb songs, as well as a few rarities and odds and ends...
