Really? That's good, actually, because I like it a lot. Nowhere to go, but up...? Quote:

The split album with Speedranch is awesome gabber-noise-madness, but it's not for the faint of heart (or ears).

But worth it for the cover of "Stairway to Heaven" alone, "Stairway to Mucus".

I still like printf... better, and I usually like that sort of thing (noise).

Oops, almost forgot my list -- latest package from EAR/Rational:

Sealey/Oddie/Spybey - SOS
Chris Meloche - Wireless
Redeye - Arizona Tracks
Klaus Schulze - Live at Klangart (both CD's)
Lisa Carbon - Standards
Merzbow/Pan Sonic - V
Rip Off Artist - In Through the Out Door

Great picks there. I need to pick up the Lisa Carbon. Please listen to the Merzbow/Panasonic and lemme know how it sounds; those are two artists that I have thought should work together after I heard the utterly brilliant remix by Panasonic on Merzbow's Scumtron disc. Hopefully the collaboration is as good as that remix.

My most recent purchases, or soon-to-be-purchased:

¤ Various - Clear Vol. 1 (Eupholus): Dull. Limited to 50 copies and totally clear vinyl (but oh-so-thin.. yuck) so it's a neat gimmick but otherwise a waste of time.
¤ Odd Nosdam - No Wig For Ohio (Anticon): I just posted a thread about this. IT RULES!
¤ Martijn de Kleer - So Close Yet So Far Out (Beta-Lactam Ring): Brilliant psychedelic rock from a member of the Legendary Pink Dots. A must-have, IMO.
¤ The Mars Volta - De-loused in the Comatorium (Interscope/GSL): See my thread about this for my thoughts.

¤ Emotional Joystick, Curtis Chip, Soperflo, etc. (Zod): The newest batch of Zod releases. Pure gold as usual. I love this label.

Bought Aaron Funk's debut release as "Snares Man!" at a garage sale of all places. It's a 7" called "Clearance Bin/Breakbeat Malaria" (History of the futurE 007). Too bad i don't have a record player anymore to play it on.

By the way Aaron Funk is Venetian Snare's real name.

Thomas Köner - Unerforschtes Gebeicht (Unexplored Territory) - CD version with extra track (Die Stadt)

Taylor Deupree - Occur (12k)

Ekkehard Ehlers - Ekkehard Ehlers Plays (staubgold)

Ekkehard Ehlers - invalidObject Series (this) 3" CD (Fallt)

Haven't been here because a member of my close family has succumbed to rare form of cancer. Chemo hasn't helped.

My best friend's moving to Berlin at the end of this month and that's sad, too. But not as sad as being unable to visit a sibling who seems lost to the art of dying whenever I call.

Just observed two perfect Dominican baby girls smooshed together in a single carriage that was being pushed down Avene B by their slightly post-teen mother. I need to see such things after a week of devastation.

If I fail to respond to anyone here, please don't take it personally.
