+1 you have exquisite taste in DACS, I had no idea dacs could be so expensive. The rabbit hole runs deep and dark as one seeks the best in head-fi.

I bought Sanyo speakers and a CSi/Speco amp for them all for $5 yesterday, so I could listen to my record player... They're terrible, sadly, and aren't anywhere near being able to fit in my room. My mom's stock car stereo when listening to the radio sounds better. I'll likely be giving them away (I feel bad about that, they're to a good friend who owns good headphones and they sound terrible).

Thanks Alchemist for steering him towards the Schiit stack, I'll now be steering away from it 

 He described it as making his headphones lose some bass, the opposite of what I need. I may get the FiiO E12, especially because I'm looking into the HE-400s now.
