Forums that have rules like this (post counting) tend to be full of short and meaningless messages.

'Awesome!'

 and the like.
But something has to be done to control spamming, I suppose......

I totally agree..although sometimes it is okay to post short messages if you agree on something ..15 meaningful posts will be more appreciated then a bunch of useless comments..
