Yet Another SR-71 Wow!

I would have to agree with agile_one. I had an opportunity to use a pair of E5's with with the sr-71 and my ipod as the source and was impressed. I've always liked the E5's, although I don't own a pair anymore, and felt the sr-71 was as good as a my xp-7 using the same source but in a much smaller package.

I'm almost back to the States, will be this weekend unless our customer changes their mind again and they haven't done that in 3 days!

What's the general battery life on this badboy with two Plainviews or comparable?

My Powerex 9.6V batteries and Maha Charger arrive today, so I will have an answer in a week or so.

Hoping to get 20 hours or so from a full charge. At 30 hours and counting with fresh Duracell Alkalines right now. After the Duracells die, it's rechargeables for me.

Maybe someone else who has been using rechargeables with an SR-71 for a while can chime in.
