What was wrong with it, MisterX? If there's any chance of me learning to diagnose these problems via the forums, it'll save a lot of trouble.

Headphoneus Supremus

The primary problem was a bad battery snap.
The secondary problem was a solder bridge on the SMP pads for the ground channel opamp.
