Since this isn't the first time that hundreds of PCM2707s disappear from Digikey stock, I would guess that a manufacturer (or multiple ones) are buying them up for production.

Hey folks, just curious what power supply / wallwart you aussies went with for your DACs?

Could I purchase AMB's euro recommendation and just use a euro-to-aussie travel plug adapter?

I haven't used a PS with mine so far. I've only used it with USB. This week I'm going to finish my second one and put it in a Hammond 1201 case. I have made a 5V TREAD for it, and I'll just use one of the DC wall warts I have in my collection.

You could buy AMB's euro recommendation, but it won't be too hard to find a regulated 5V dc adapter in Australia, check Jaycar or Dick Smith.
