Hey everybody, nice forum!

I have a pair of Denon AH-D5000, wich I've used with Xonar Essence STX for over a year now.
Recently, I came over a nice offer of a used Burson HA-160, so I bought it. Hopefully to get more out of my headset.

I understand that the Burson HA-160 does not have a DAC, and that I would have to use the DAC in my soundcard.
So my question is basically, how should I connect the amplifier to the soundcard in order to get the best soundquality?
Would I need to buy any cables?

My impression of the soundcard is that the DAC on it is good, therefore I decided not to buy a new DAC, but put my money in a good amplifier instead. Do you guys agree?

Thanks for any input, and sorry for asking stupid questions, I'm new in this hifi world : )

Cable with RCA (red/white) connectors on both ends should do the job.
In the STX's control panel, make sure Audio Output is set to "Speakers" (which is the RCA outputs).
And set the Audio Channel to 2-channel (for music).
