My XPS 9100's current audio device (indiscernible when checking the device manager) has the capability to run a Front Speaker set up and a Headphone set up simultaneously (at least I think that's what's happening). When I install this DG can I run two different 2.1 setups on the same card? Say when I plug the speaker setup into the "Sides" port will it let me choose to be driven as "Fronts"? Of course I don't intend on listening to both at the same time, but I don't wish to unplug every time I wish to change outputs. Can someone offer some advice here?

Damn, the open PCI slot is so low that the inputs are obstructed by the case. Guess I'll be buying the DX. Goodbye, money. I never knew thee.
