As far as I know, you really can't do anything with iOS to do something like that unless you start jailbreaking.

Those are not the same thing. The actual earbud looks the same, but the cord on the real Piston 3 is not a flat ribbon cable.

If that isn't the most suspicious seller I've ever seen, then I don't know what is. Do note that both the 2.0 and 3.0 retail for $16. Any seller that sells below that is often a guaranteed fake.
 
My advice? Cancel the order if you still can, and order from a proper seller like Gearbest or Penonaudio.
